People, across United States, have been more likely to seek mental health help due to being isolated and stuck in their homes due to COVID-19. They have symptoms such as Depression, Worry, Anxiety, Anger, Loneliness, and feel lost. Doctors are prescribing medicine. However, the medicine only alleviates the pain for a little bit.
The Best Remedy for depression, worry, anxiety, anger, and feeling lost is Trusting in God. The Word of God has the cure to these emotional ailments of worry, anxiety, anger, and feeling lost. One crucial cure that comes from the Bible is the Jesus loves us and does not want us to be feel lost or isolated. John 3:16a states, “For God so loved the World.” God loves you and God loves me. God loves you so much that he has given you a way to feel renewed and mentally health. God sent his only begotten son to save us from the ailment that everyone faces. That one ailment is sin. Sin has wrecked havoc on everyone’s life. But the one true God is merciful and sent his only begotten son, Jesus, to save us from the punishment of sin which is death. Romans 6:23 states “For the wages of sin is death but the gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord.” What an amazing promise! God has given us a way out from our depression, anxiety, anger, and feeling lost. That way is by trusting God as your personal Lord and Savior. Once you accept Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior, you will be able to with God’s help conquer you depression, worry, and anxiety. 1 Peter 5:7 (NIV) “Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.” Jesus Cares for you and you can lay all your depression, worry, and anxiety on him.What an Amazing Truth. God does not want you to suffer from worry, anxiety and depression. God wants you to trust in Him who gives you rest.
Jesus is your friend. Jesus is the one you can lean on when the going gets tough. Hebrews 13:6a states “Jesus will never leave you nor forsake you.” What an amazing Truth! A good Analogy is Life guarding. When a person is drowning, a lifeguard jumps into the pool and rescues from the rough water. Just like Life-guarding, Jesus rescues us from drowning of worry, anxiety, anger, and depression. I really urge you to Trust God because it radically change your life for the better. Matthew 11:28-30 states, “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rests for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.” Jesus loves us to so much that he does not want us to be emotional distress. When we are emotional distress, God wants us to lean into Him all the more.
I personally struggle with worry and anxiety, but I constantly remember that God is the truly the one in charge and I do not have to worry because God is with him all the steps of the way. Trusting in God has changed my life for the better. Trusting in God changed my life for the better. All you have to do is take that leap of faith. Jesus is the Answer, nothing else. My heart aches for people who are suffering from a mental health condition. My heart is for them to Trust in God because Trusting in God can solve your problems, nothing else can.
Trust God. Trusting God is the first step to emotional and spiritual recovery. It took me three years with the help of God, my parents, and my new church family to get over my worry, anxiety, and the hurt that experienced from my old church. Trusting in God is first step to emotional and spiritual recovery. The Second is Exercise. Exercise can help you release your anger in a constructive way.
So Remember to Trust God because Trusting God is the first step to emotional and spiritual recovery. This can change your life for the better. I hope you take this heart and apply this Truth.
