Breaking News: Spiritual and Physical Exercise is the second step to emotional and spiritual recover

Physical Exercises is the second step to emotional and spiritual recovery. Physical exercises can help you cope with stress. Physical exercise is the second step because the first step is the most important which is Trusting in God. Trusting in God helps you get the motivation to physically exercise. The Anxiety and Depression Association of America (ADAA) scientists found that “regular participation in aerobic exercise has been shown to decrease overall levels of tension, elevate and stabilize mood, improve sleep, and improve self-esteem. Even five minutes of aerobic exercise can stimulate anti-anxiety effects.” (Anxiety and Depression Association of America. “Physical Activity Reduces Stress,” Anxiety and Depression Association of America. 2020. Accessed August 16th, 2020. adaa.org/understanding-anxiety/related-illnesses/other-related-conditions/stress/physical-activity-reduces-st#:~:text=Scientists%20have%20found%20that%20regular,can%20stimulate%20anti-anxiety%20effects.) Although ADAA is correct in saying exercise can alleviate your feeling of stress, it should not discount the first step which is Trusting in God.

Stress is always a part of our life. The first step is to trust in God. Trusting in God is the most important step. The Second Step is to physically exercise. There are several physical exercises that can help alleviate stress. These exercises include biking, running, hiking, climbing, swimming, and going to the gym to lift weights or work on their equipment.

The goal in exercise is not to wear yourself out, but to help alleviate stress. It is impossible to eliminate Stress but these two steps can lead you on a path to spiritual and emotional recovery. ADAA recent polled that “Some 14 percent of people make use of regular exercise to cope with stress. Others reported talking to friends or family (18 percent); Sleeping (17 percent); watching movies or TV (14 percent), as well as eating (14 percent) and listening to music (13 percent).” (Anxiety and Depression Association of America. “Physical Activity Reduces Stress.” ADAA. 2020. accessed August 16th, 2020. https://adaa.org/understanding-anxiety/related-illnesses/other-related-conditions/stress/physical-activity-reduces-st#:~:text=Scientists%20have%20found%20that%20regular,can%20stimulate%20anti%2Danxiety%20effects.)

As this poll indicated, there are other ways to cope with stress besides exercise, but exercising and trusting in God can lead you on a path to emotional and spiritual recovery. In conclusion, the two most important steps to get you on a path to emotional and spiritual recovery is exercise and Trusting in God. 1 Peter 5:7 states, “Cast all your cares upon him because he cares for you.” God truly cares for you so you can trust in Him. Thanks.
